Join Project Coyote National Carnivore Conservation Manager Dr. Michelle Lute in Oklahoma City for The Animal Conference 2021, sponsored by the Kirkpatrick Foundation.

Session Name: Carnivore Coexistence & Compassionate Conservation

Session Description: Dr. Lute will talk about why native carnivores matter and how they bring balance to the landscape and keep ecosystems resilient and healthy. She will discuss how America’s war against predators is costly, brutal, and often ineffective. Highlighting Project Coyote’s national programs and campaigns aimed at stopping the mistreatment and mismanagement of America’s native carnivores through education, science, and advocacy, Dr. Lute will show that better ways exist to live with these animals and compassionate conservation and coexistence is the way forward.
